  great mother & daughter movie!! my daughter is 4, she did get scared at parts but once i held her in my arms, she was fine til the end! both of us cried @ the end & she kissed me so many times after the movie!

  Brave is a terrific mother-daughter movie. (It is not for children under 10) If you are Irish, Scottish or Welsh this movie should not be missed....

  although the animation is well done, do not see this movie with kids under 10 years old!! we went with my 5 year old niece who loves princesses and had to leave way before the end. it is very scary, extremely loud at times and violent! the theatre was full of kids crying and parents were leaving with their kids the whole time because they were scared. skip this one!!

  i found the movie hard to follow. there were very few good parts, to be honest.

  finally a princess who doesn't wait around for a prince to save her! perhaps a bit too scary for very small children. fantastic animation.
