  see most comedies dont raelly have a well developed story line. take step brothers for example; everybody thinks that movie is great for the most part however the story was pretty dumb. you dont get a ton of movies with a decent, consistent story AND a good amount of comedy the only one i can think of with both of those things is the first hangover. so, i dont judge a comedy based on it's story because, in my opinion, there is not a lot of things to compare it to.
