  XAVIER DOLAN , is a genius, this was simply one of the best films I saw at the Leeds international film festival, visually delicious, heart felt and totally incredible,it was no short of a masterpiece! Cant wait to own my own copy x

  a woman trapped in a man's body headliner is unfortunate sensationalist cliché from old 'trans-pathology' notions still prevalent today, but succeeds in drawing attention. excellent story with many struggles, conflicts, marginalization, ostracization, rejection those who are 'gender emerged atypical' (pariah), but lived the first stage of their life conforming and hiding in the guise like the 'typical'. family/loved ones are distressed the second stage of life that opens up before them. worth the see. only wish i didn't have to go downtown (tiff) gta to see it!
