The movie had lot of potential but fell short of really good. The musicianship was great. There should have been more of it. The Racial issues were typical. The love affair was foolish. Most disappointing was the end. In fact it didn't seem to have an end. It was going along and then it wasn't. What the heck?

In regards to other less flattering reviews on here. There's nothing "woke" about this movie. Other than people finally woke up to recognize other less famous intellectuals and artists of which there are so many regardless of race. Are the great stories of Alexander Dumas the product of your woke theory. I hate that stuff. I'm sure there are many others of all races whom are all but forgotten. A nice movie, a good movie with a good story. What's not to like? I give it a plus for not being a bunch of animated cartoon fantastic vilonce.

As a black classically trained singer I was highly motivated by this movie and the experience of this extremely talented composer and violinist. It’s unfortunate that many of the struggles he faced still take place but so motivating to see how he became the best he could be.

Chevalier was a real life figure who was larger than life. In his efforts to overcome racism and fit into white society he was a major overachiever (which the film accurately portrays). amazing to see his story unfold on the big screen finally!

Another BLM/Woke Production from the quivering cowards and idiots in the movie industry. A re-writing of history, now fake history. Next up in pre-production from BLM/Woke Productions is a great sounding movie of how a tribe of a million black people in 1000BC built a giant civilization in the Northern Europe, but since they were concerned about the environment they built everything in Paper Mache' and that's why we've never found traces of them and their paper mache' weapons and jars.
