wanted to walk out after the first 1/2 hour (as many people did) the movie consisted of senseless one-way dialogue & sex scenes that were so uncomfortably self-conscious they mad me cringe with embarrassment. stuck it out to the end where the only breath of fresh air was the always superb acting of paul giamatti. i have to admit, though, that robert pattison did a good job considering what he had to work with. definitely should not be on david cronenberg's "to see" list of movies, definitely on the "don't waste your time" list

pattison doesn't have the gravitas to carry a role like this, paul giammatti amazes in the last act. nothing special here.

stupid movie. Some call it a "dark movie", yet it isn't anything other then rubbish. It made me angry to waste my time and money. Idiotic dialog, stupid storytelling. This movie is the same level of " taking a dump on the corner street and calling it art". How stupid do you think people are?? Don't waste your time and money on this one. Stay with friends, family or have a long conversation with a pond frog - you be better off!

this movie does not deserve any star. it cannot be rated with this system as it is rubbish, crap. imbecile dialog, stupid story telling (story???) don't waste your time watching that trash. many viewers just left the theater after less the 30 min.

Go into this with an open mind if you have not read the book. Understand what the 1 percent means. This is a fantastic movie and I cannot say enough about how wonderful Rob Pattinson's acting is. He nailed it! The last 20 minutes is beyond amazing. Love a movie that makes you think and is not all laid out for you. It will stay with you for a long time.

I am very excited about this prejoct for Robert, and it sounds like he is too…Thank you so much to Mr. Cronenberg for giving him the vote of confidence, and a chance, I feel, for Robert to shed off Twilight and the image of Edward…He is a better actor than that Saga gave him the chance to be, though I am, as I know he is, appreciative that he had such a big opportunity…I’m just so happy it has lead to “real” opportunities to show his talent, with such with a wonderful director as David, and a script that depends on the director and the main actor mainly…When I read a

This is a really great read!! Cronenberg: Rob was the most itetresning and exciting actor suggested for Cosmopolis, and I knew that he would bring something wonderful to the screen"God, happy that a director of Cronenberg caliber believed in Rob. I too, believe in him.Cosmopolis is the perfect role for Rob, at the perfect time. <333

I find it fascinating that one of tools he used to ppreare was a video of Jeffrey Dahmer and his father. It seems strange but I can understand it because from reading the book, Eric and Jeffrey are sociopaths, but one has wealth the other does not. They feel no remorse for anything they do, they just want to keep doing no matter what the consequences and are really not close to anyone.
