  the amazing spider-man is spectacular. this retelling of peter parker's origins is a bit more faithful to it's source material and every bit as exciting. andrew garfield is spot on as peter and spider-man, and emma stone is fantastic as gwen stacy. if you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for?

  this movie didn't blow me away as the first trilogy did. it had potential but fell a little flat.
