  i was able to sit through the movie and somewhat enjoy myself. maybe i'm spoiled growing up with the previous reboot trilogy, but this reboot seemed to be emulating too much teenage angst for my liking. the love interest was a little cheesy as well, considering he was basically stalking her in the beginning. that along with him supposedly being an outcast even though he played the part of a badass just made the part unbelievable. i did enjoy a few of the changes they made but if i wanted to see a teenage romance movie i would go watch twilight. over-all, it was mediocre at best.

  slow at the start. not sure all this new origin story was necessary. good action at the end.
