  was one of the most boring movies i have ever seen. was too long, with lackluster action sequences and too much emphasis on a teenage love story. really made for 13 year old teenage girls

  i can forgive a crappy storyline, but boring action sequences in this day and age are unforgivable. the amazing spider-man is shockingly boring.

  i'm afraid this rates as the "batman & robin" of the spider-man series. the story is laughable, the effects are amateurish, and the villain is a complete dolt. if pressed to say something good about it, well, james horner's music was nice, and of course it's a treat to hear him working with celine again.

  this is the spiderman that i always wanted to see on the big screen. great acting by the entire cast.
